Went to a 40th Birthday/Fancy Dress party on Saturday, and I must say it was great fun. The effort the hosts, and guests went to to make it feel like a very genuine 80’s throwback was extraordinary. These sort of parties if done half hearted, can be a bit of a disaster, but the fact that everyone put in a lot of effort made the evening that went on to the early hours with plenty of naff music to dance to.
