Johnson Fought the Law and the Law Won!

Posted on September 24, 2019

Let us face facts here, we really don’t know where this chaos is going next. However, anyone with a sane mind will be relieved by today’s findings.

Boris Johnson, fanned by people like Dominic Cummings, the Barclay brothers, The Rothermere empire and Rupert Murdoch (all tax avoiders) misled the Queen and forced the shutting of parliament to stop debate.

All 11 members of the Supreme Court ruled that government must not be able to shut down debate. It was ruled that Boris Johnson, or any future PM, must not be above parliamentary democracy. If they try, they are breaking the law.

Why is this important?

Well, if you dare, try to forget Brexit for a moment. This not about Brexit; it is about ensuring people like Dominic Cummings (unelected) cannot ignore parliament to railroad through something that an elected parliament has voted against.

If the Supreme Court had voted in favour of Johnson, the precedent is set and what you have is a situation where, in the future, a dictator could simply deem parliament null and void. Whether you voted Brexit or not, that is dangerous.

This is what Johnson has achieved after his first two months in power.

1/ Lost six parliament votes on the trot

2/ Lost his majority

3/ Lost prorogation

4/ Lost in a Scottish Court

5/ Lost in the Supreme Court

6/ Lost 23 MP’s

7/ Lied to the Queen like she was one of his lady friends on a taxpayer funded ‘business trip’.

The Nuclear Gamble that Went Wrong!

Still, how we all laughed when Johnson rugby tackled that German chap in a charity football match and blew £65 million on a non-existent bridge.

When Johnson, driven on no doubt, by that unelected runt, Cummings, went for the nuclear option of shutting down parliament, he thought he could get away with it.

How did he think that?

Because Johnson has spent his life getting away with it. Affairs while his wife was being treated for cancer, indeterminate amounts of children, organising the beating up of a journalist, unauthorized trips on oligarchs’ yachts…you name it, he has done it.

Johnson is a  jumped up product of Etonian privilege who chose a man (Cummings) that intelligent forces who protect democracy hate, as his strategist. He threw the Cummings dice and lost. Good.

Will He Run off Home for his Tea?

Johnson loaded his guns, he should now fuck off home for his tea! He won’t though. He has wealthy tax avoiders in the media right behind him, as well as plenty of donors and members of the extreme right who despise workers rights as well as food and environment laws that curtail their money machines.

British Parliament and law, will need to be more robust and resolute than ever before. If you don’t know where I am coming from, check for tomorrow’s right-wing newspapers.

This is going to get ugly but fascists must be faced down.

What beggars belief is that there’s still a good section of the community who would still back Johnson to the hilt. He’s gutsy, brave and of course downright funny if you read some commentators.

I rarely comment on facebook posts, but had to have a big rant on one yesterday as there were so many people expressing support for Johnson regardless of his lies and ineptitude. I actually think he’s made the queen an accessory to his crimes..
I find it staggering that if an election were held tomorrow the Tories under Johnson would probably STILL win.

It’s a sad situation where world politics are at such a low ebb that the electorate prefer to vote for status quo even if it spells further austerity and financial ruin. The UK’s servitude knows no end.

…..perhaps not that staggering when the alternative is Corbyn, MacDonald and Diane Abbott!!?
