The Weekend That all Went Rather Quickly……

Well, that went rather quickly and whilst for many it was a total washout, the two outdoor activities I had planned  this weekend went, rather remarkably, without disruption. Carling Don’t Do Weather Forecasts….But if They Did?

It appears that if there is one thing in this country the elite cannot control, it is the British weather, despite all the bad summers in recent years, I can't remember the last forecast I saw in June where the outlook for Sunday and Monday is not only for driving rain, but also for temperatures of just ten centigrade. Where Would You Prefer to Live…..Town or Country?

I have just had a weekend (and a skived off Monday) that has been really diverse in nature, featuring a a cricket club quiz night (Broughton) a game of cricket (Overton) a village fete (Broughton) and a walk from Waterloo to Tower Bridge and back along the Thames path on the north and south bank.
