Before it is buried under the next bit of news about vaccines,
Shamima Begum or Prince Harry, I must write a few paragraphs about the new
policing bill going before parliament.
Firstly, it probably would have slipped under the radar if it
hadn’t been for the chaotic scenes at Clapham Common on Saturday. It would have
been sneaked through the back door whilst we all indulge ourselves in Covid-19
stories. With 24-hour newsreel, it is nigh on ...
I tell you what has intrigued me this week. The Tory Party
extending its lead over Labour in the opinion polls. Why is that?
Some say that it is down to the vaccine roll out that has
been a success. Others say that it is because the government are doing well in

So, with that in mind, great credit must be given to all the party members who ...
If you want to know how you came to having your political
opinion (whatever your preference) and how it has evolved, can I suggest something?
Watch the new documentary series by Adam Curtis, called ‘Can’t get You Out of
My head’.
It is a fascinating tale of geopolitical shifts that have
allowed us to become the confused and some might say broken society, we are
today. A series of geopolitical misjudgements, coincidence, and bad luck ...
