Footnote To Previous Blog-Well Done RFC

Reading FC showed pictures of WW1 soldiers who played for Reading on the big screen during the minute silence today, 9 of whom died in action. It was a touching and classy tribute that was impeccably observed by supporters of both sides. The action on the pitch was pretty absorbing too, Reading fought back from 3-1 behind to draw 3-3 and almost snatch a win.
And there was not a Laughing Lion in sight.
