Swanage part 2

Just had a great time down in swanage with the Withey's the Newton's and latterly the Porter's. This was no glamour holiday but as you can see we all had a great time and the weather was pretty good at times though I have omitted Tuesday and Thursday which were grim.All but one night we cooked around the BBQ and enjoyed good food and wine whilst Stewart and John had a "who can light the best BBQ" competition and various half hour conversations ...

Just got back from leg two of Swanage and though it was no heatwave, we got away quite lightly and saw at least some sunshine, and everyone had a great time. I came back on Tuesday to the surprise of everyone who thought they had got rid of me, and got straight back in to drinking and having fun.We had a great day on Wednesday first a game of golf where I was crowned champion of Brougton, and we luckily missed most of the rain. I have arrived back at work temporarily after a weekend in Swanage with half of Broughton who are still all there. Incredibly on Saturday it didn’t rain and the sun shone all day which made it a fine day to watch the incredible Red Arrows do a display over the bay. Awards For George as The Rain Keeps Coming

George had a trophy collecting evening at the Oakley U13's presentation last night, picking the best all rounder award, and voted players player of the season. He desevred it too, taking 15 wkts at 4 runs an over and scoring 138 runs at an average of 19.8 retiring unbeaten twice, he also claimed five catches at Mid Wicket.Oakley as a team thrashed Champions Kingsclere on Monday to seal second in their league, and rue the ugly defeat at Baingst...
