George had a trophy collecting evening at the Oakley U13’s presentation last night, picking the best all rounder award, and voted players player of the season. He desevred it too, taking 15 wkts at 4 runs an over and scoring 138 runs at an average of 19.8 retiring unbeaten twice, he also claimed five catches at Mid Wicket.

I am off to get wet in Swanage this weekend with 57 other people from Broughton joining us in what promises to be a rain and wine soaked extravaganda. The wet Summer appears to be showing no sign of giving up as we approach our 4th consecutive week of dull cool and damp weather. You just have to grin and bare it I suppose
