"The King Of Shaves?……Not Quite"

Posted on March 18, 2010

The grandly titled “King of Shaves” razor has turned out to be something of a disappointment, more like “The 26th In Line To The Throne of Shaves” if truth be known (though their shaving oil is very good). It didn’t remove the first layer of skin like the Sainsbury’s Potato Peeler, but I must say, it is not in the same league as Gillette (The best a man can get). I am yet to try Wilkinson Sword, but it looks like, rather sadly, I am going to have to pay a hefty price for a decent and clean shave.

Interestingly friend and fellow blogger Trevor Hickman found an article on line that Gillette is the most shoplifted item in the world, this maybe one of the reasons that customers who actually pay for their razors, do so at such an inflated price, It seems even thieves are brand conscious. To read the Gillette article click here

If you have not got annoyed enough by this Blog and found it a bit bland, I have another article for you to read from the BBC Website. It is regarding the pay offs of Britain’s Council chiefs with your Council Tax Money, and what are described as boomerang top jobs in Councils where a CEO gets paid off on average £250k to leave his position and gets a job in a neighbouring Council. The author of this blog recommends that you read this article out of the earshot of children with a pair of slippers on, thus reducing the damage to your screen and your childs vocabulary. I would love to see comment on this at the bottom of my blog.
